Founded in 1888 by German-born immigrant Francis Xavier Matt, or F.X. as he liked to be called.

Great tour of a working brewery. Tour takes you through all the stages of beer making, and its history. Bring some warm clothing with you, as some of the areas of the plant get cold.  At the end of the tour you are invited to drink and sample complementary beer, this is the best part.
